About this us resume template
American employers expect a "resume", not a CV: one page for most people, on US Letter paper, with no photo, date of birth, marital status or nationality, which US anti-discrimination rules discourage employers from considering. The layout is simple and single-column so applicant tracking systems read it cleanly. The sample is for a data analyst.
How to fill in this resume

Add your name, city and state, phone, email and LinkedIn.

Write a 2–3 line summary aimed at the job you want.

For each job, write 2–4 bullets that start with a strong verb and include a number.

Add education (GPA only if 3.5 or higher) and skills, then save as PDF.
Tips for a US resume
No photo, no personal details
Leave out photo, age, marital status and religion. US recruiters often reject resumes that include them.
One page under 10 years
Keep it to one page unless you have more than about 10 years of relevant experience.
Quantify everything
Dollars, percentages, time saved and team size make a bullet credible.
Mirror the job posting
Use the exact skill names from the posting so the ATS matches them.
